Hertel Schwab 141

Here is a very rare and beautiful character with glass sleep eyes by Hertel Schwab, #141.  She is 16 inches tall, a nice cabinet size.  She is on a well strung fully jointed body: it looks original. her face is exceptional and very expressive, with crisp molding and beautiful coloring.  She has full rosey cheeks a slightly open mouth with teeth, outlined in a darker color.  There are accent dots in the nostrils, wispy brows with delicately feathering, and dainty brow strokes surrounding the pretty blue glass sleep eyes.  The sleep mechanism works well and the eyelid color is good.  She has a gentle sincere expression that is very unusual and compelling.  The bisque is lovely and she has her original blonde mohair wig.  She is wearing a custom pink silk striped dress with delicate lace trim, a taupe bonnet with pink silk flowers, and under that, a knit slip and a cotton lace trimmed half slip.  Her black shoes are leather with ties and she wears knee high black stockings.  Condition; Very lovely, beautiful presentation.  There is a 1/2 inch firing or pigment line inside the head from the rim.  It is from the making, only showing inside the head.  The bisque is otherwise excellent and pretty.  Should you wish to discuss lay away terms or make a reasonable offer, feel free to contact me at brownlindaellen@gmail.com  Marking: 141 5    $3495.00 USD If you like unusual character faces, this sweet girl will definitely spice up your collection.  She is rare and very compelling.  #Hertelschwab141 #germancharacterdoll #raredoll  #antiquegermandoll  #antiquedollcollector #antiquedollshop
