18" tall Emile Jumeau with Portrait face (dating from about 1885). The Emile Jumeau dolls had a Portrait face for only 2 years.

She has amazing large blue wrap-around portrait eyes and a closed mouth with a slight smiling expression. The pieced ears are separately applied; they have vintage red earrings. Fine long auburn French Human hair wig.

Navy and light blue dress trimmed with white braid, Navy blue wool coat with wide Peter Pan collar.  Red and beige trim edging the collar.  Vintage black leather shoes and knit stockings.  Red wool Beret

Marked with Depose Tete Jumeau BTH S.G.D.G. #8 and artist ticks. Original neck spring in place.  2 fine stress marks in forehead.  Excellent fully jointed original Jumeau body.

Both are 18"tall.
